Great shoes if they are what you’re looking for
Likes
Great support, and solid lacing
Dislikes
They run WARM, and the sizing was a bit small. I’d suggest going up a half size from your standard sizing or stick with your usual hiking shoe size.

My new favorite from Oboz
Likes
I like the extra support around the foot and the shock dampening on heel strike. My previous favorite was the Tamarack, but the Firebrand seems even better.

Comfortable, solid support
Likes
This shoe is comfortable out of the box and provides really solid support. My first pair of Oboz and I love the look and fit.
Dislikes
My dislike would be price point. I wish these shoes were a bit less costly in general.

Fit, Support, Durability, Looks. I have a good number of the Oboz shoes. They are great to me. These are like the Red Firebrand but with the grey instead of red they are a bit more subtle. But I love them both. To cure the tendency in some shoes to dip down on the top of the toes, I store the shoes with a golf ball in the toe. Makes the toe top stay up and more roomy for the little fellers. I would recommend to my best friend. And I would and have purchase again. (And again). Drew C Little Rock, AR
Dislikes
The top of the toe can dip downward.

Most comfortable Oboz low hiking shoe
Likes
I've also tried the Oboz Sawtooth low, Bridger Low BDry, and Traverse low, and I find the Firebrand II to be the most comfortable. It has a slightly softer underfoot feel than all the others, and yet is extremely protective underfoot and it has rock solid toe protection -also love the lacing system on the Firebrand II compared to the Bridger low and Traverse low, the Firebrand's got 7 eyelets per side compared to 5 on the Bridger low and the Traverse low
Dislikes
- heavy for a low hiking shoe - my men's size 12 came in at about 19.5 oz. per shoe

Dialed-in comfort and superior foot protection
Likes
This shoe has it all: Dialed-in comfort and superior foot protection. This shoe has the best heel-to-toe comfort and fit of any shoe I have owned. The waterproofing is excellent and the toe guard is great...I have put both to the test. The outsole bites into the trail and there are no slippage points and no blisters. Oboz Firebrand II is my go-to outdoor shoe.
Dislikes
nothing.

I don't have any dislikes at this time, will be hiking the Catskills this coming weekend, so they will be put to the test.
