Description

Nimble as a multi-sport shoe but touting the durability and traction of a hiking boot the Oboz Men's Firebrand II BDry shoe has a high-performance outsole ample cushioning and waterproof/breathable construction to tackle anything thrown at it.

The hybrid construction of Nubuck leather and high-tenacity fabrics make the upper of the Men's Firebrand II BDry low-cut shoe extremely durable abrasion-resistant and breathable. The BDry tape-sealed polyurethane bootie provides waterproof protection while still helping to breathe and wick sweat to keep you cool and dry. A wide toe box gives your foot some roominess where it's most likely to need it.

Under foot the shoe's dual-density EVA foam and nylon shank provide comfortable cushioning flexibility and stability. A high-performance insole is a cut above what you'll find in most boots providing plush EVA foam under the heel and forefoot a shock-absorbing and stability-enhancing heel cup and arch support and moisture-wicking materials.

The rubber outsole's aggressive mud-shedding tread and toothy traction-enhancing side lugs team up to provide confident footing on-trail or off.

The Oboz Men's Firebrand II BDry trail shoe is available in men's full and half sizes.

  • BFit Deluxe Insole stabilizes arches and protects high-impact zones
  • BDry membrane blocks water from the wet trail while wicking away sweat

Great shoes if they are what you’re looking for

Likes

Great support, and solid lacing

Dislikes

They run WARM, and the sizing was a bit small. I’d suggest going up a half size from your standard sizing or stick with your usual hiking shoe size.

My new favorite from Oboz

Likes

I like the extra support around the foot and the shock dampening on heel strike. My previous favorite was the Tamarack, but the Firebrand seems even better.

Comfortable, solid support

Likes

This shoe is comfortable out of the box and provides really solid support. My first pair of Oboz and I love the look and fit.

Dislikes

My dislike would be price point. I wish these shoes were a bit less costly in general.

Great Shoes

Fit, Support, Durability, Looks. I have a good number of the Oboz shoes. They are great to me. These are like the Red Firebrand but with the grey instead of red they are a bit more subtle. But I love them both. To cure the tendency in some shoes to dip down on the top of the toes, I store the shoes with a golf ball in the toe. Makes the toe top stay up and more roomy for the little fellers. I would recommend to my best friend. And I would and have purchase again. (And again). Drew C Little Rock, AR

Dislikes

The top of the toe can dip downward.

Most comfortable Oboz low hiking shoe

Likes

I've also tried the Oboz Sawtooth low, Bridger Low BDry, and Traverse low, and I find the Firebrand II to be the most comfortable. It has a slightly softer underfoot feel than all the others, and yet is extremely protective underfoot and it has rock solid toe protection -also love the lacing system on the Firebrand II compared to the Bridger low and Traverse low, the Firebrand's got 7 eyelets per side compared to 5 on the Bridger low and the Traverse low

Dislikes

- heavy for a low hiking shoe - my men's size 12 came in at about 19.5 oz. per shoe

Dialed-in comfort and superior foot protection

Likes

This shoe has it all: Dialed-in comfort and superior foot protection. This shoe has the best heel-to-toe comfort and fit of any shoe I have owned. The waterproofing is excellent and the toe guard is great...I have put both to the test. The outsole bites into the trail and there are no slippage points and no blisters. Oboz Firebrand II is my go-to outdoor shoe.

Dislikes

nothing.

Great looking shoe

Likes

Very comfortable and looks stylish enough for me to wear them in the office all day.

Dislikes

I don't have any dislikes at this time, will be hiking the Catskills this coming weekend, so they will be put to the test.
