Description

Full-grain leather upper and GORE-TEX lining maximize durability, stability, and weather protection: The boot's LWG Gold Certified leather upper delivers dependable long-term durability and lateral support. Staggered mesh windows enhance breathability without compromising stability, A rolled lining in the collar provides support and cushioning for your Achilles. A GORE-TEX Invisible Fit lining is lighter and more breathable than traditional waterproof linings. A reinforced leather cap protects your toes from rocks and roots and a TPU rand enhances stability, durability, and side-foot protection. A molded heel stabilizer helps keep your foot properly positioned.
Midsole package is engineered for lightweight stability and comfort: The KINERTIA midsole utilizes compression molded EVA foam to promote an efficient and stable stride. The O FIT Insole features triple-density EVA foam for all-day comfort and support. It includes medium-density foam throughout, softer heel and forefoot pods for cushioning, and a firm molded shell with a deep heel cup for stability and blister prevention.
Premium all-condition traction for whatever terrain you encounter: The boot's Vibram outsole employs a technical MegaGrip compound that offers excellent grip on both wet and dry surfaces while maintaining long-term durability. A strategic lug pattern increases surface area, adds stability, and enhances overall traction.

When it comes to footwear, fast and light is my typical MO. So, for adventures that would tear through my running shoes, I still like my boots to be agile, not clunky. I’m pleased to say the Oboz Sawtooth X Pro MID GTX delivers everything I want from hard-wearing footwear. The Nubuck leather plows through underbrush while the dense mesh cutouts keep me from overheating. The collar and shaping are undoubtedly supportive, but not so stiff that it takes a lot of time to break in (which can be a pet-peeve of my impatient self). Vibram’s sticky outsole keeps me from slipping on sketchy downhills, and the renowned GORE-TEX liner helps me stay dry through shallow creeks and post rain mud. These really are a lightweight, well rounded, do anything anywhere kind of waterproof boot.
