Amazing Service

Because you deserve it.

Providing maximum versatility for no-matter-what backcountry cooking, the innovative Optimus Polaris Optifuel stove utilizes a single jet for reliable cooking performance with no fiddling to change nozzles or attachments whether you're using it as a canister stove or with any number of liquid fuels (fuel canister and fuel bottle sold separately).

Description

Providing maximum versatility for no-matter-what backcountry cooking, the innovative Optimus Polaris Optifuel stove utilizes a single jet for reliable cooking performance with no fiddling to change nozzles or attachments whether you're using it as a canister stove or with any number of liquid fuels (fuel canister and fuel bottle sold separately).

The Polaris Optifuel's unique single jet has a built-in magnetic cleaning needle that ensures reliability for burning propane, white gas, kerosene, or any number of liquid fuels (NOTE: Do not use automobile gasoline as it is volatile, extremely flammable, and often releases hazardous vapors when ignited). It will boil water in as little 3 to 4 minutes using white gas depending on climate altitude and other factors.

The stove can also be used with an Optimus butane/propane gas canister (sold separately and not available online). In colder conditions you can invert the canister to conserve fuel and improve 4-season performance.

A quick-priming burner offers reliable performance even in challenging conditions. The burner rests inside a lightweight aluminum housing that connects to three sturdy fold-away pot supports. Serrated to better support pots and toothed to improve overall stove stability the legs offer a wide cooking base but collapse against the housing of the stove to keep packed size to a minimum.

The Optimus Polaris Optifuel stove includes a heat-reflecting windscreen and a stuff bag.

  • Single Jet Optifuel Technology allows use with any fuel
  • Quick-priming burner for faster use
  • Built in magnetic cleaning needle ensures reliability and ease of use when using liquid fuels
  • Switch between Efficiency Mode and 4 Season Mode depending on your conditions and usage
  • Includes windshield for more efficient cooking
