Designed for mountaineers but comfortable and stylish enough for everyday wear the Ortovox Men's Fleece Light Grid Zip Neck Hoody provides lightweight breathable insulation.

The half-zip pullover is constructed of a blend of polyester wool and polyamide. A Tasmanian Merino wool interior provides next-to-skin comfort and along with its gridded design helps to regulate moisture and temperature. The natural wool properties are not only effective in moving moisture but also in combatting odor. The shoulders and elbows are reinforced to protect against abrasion.

An ergonomically-constructed hood extends protective coverage and provides a close comfortable fit. A high collar provides protection for your chin and the front of your face in blustery conditions. The deep front zipper helps to make the hoody easier to put on and take off. It also allows you to vent the hoody if temperatures climb.

I have a few grid style fleeces. This is my favorite. The idea of having reinforcement on the sleeves and shoulders is brilliant. And the poly Merino blend is comfortable and effective. Love it.

Dislikes

Wish it had thumbholes. But no biggie.
