Insulated with rare European black wool and its unbelievable warmth-to-weight ratio the Ortovox Women's Swisswool Verbier Parka is an excellent choice for skiing or cold weather belaying.

The exterior of the jacket is high-performance Pertex Quantum Pro. This lightweight fabric offers windproof protection and a PU-coating bolsters weather-resistance. To add extra protection and durability the shoulders are bolstered by fully waterproof inserts. Consistent reliable warmth is provided by black wool from sheep living in the Swiss alps! This sustainable Swisswool insulates while maintaining a low profile minimizing weight and delivering excellent moisture regulation. Even in the dampest of conditions this natural insulator keeps you warm. Even the adjustable hood and tall collar are insulated.

Other features include soft Merino wool around the chin a full-length two-way front zipper a zippered ski pass pocket on the sleeve and high-set zippered pockets that can be reached even if you're wearing a backpack or a climbing harness.

Very comfortable and warm to wear. Medium size is a good fit for 5'4", 127lbs and 36" chest.
