A feature-rich workhorse, the Osprey Aura AG 65 Women's backpack delivers ventilation and support for weekend outings or extended backpacking trips. There's plenty of capacity and organization to haul your gear, and the adjustable Anti-Gravity Suspension system offers a fit that feels custom-made for you.
The Anti-Gravity Suspension system provides weight-carrying efficiency, breathability, and a contoured fit that'll nearly make you forget you have it on your back. A broad-mesh, tensioned backpanel stretches seamlessly from the shoulder straps all the way out across the hipbelt. Though the pack maintains constant, responsive contact with the wearer, warm air can escape freely because of the separation caused between the mesh and the pack itself.
Beneath the mesh, a LightWire frame provides support and distributes weight. The pack has a short range of torso adjustability via a cam-lock system that's easy to access and operate. The Fit-on-the-Fly system offers adjustability in both the harness and hipbelt so that the pack is comfortable at any setting. The hipbelt system features extendable padded "fins" with incremental length and angle adjustments to achieve optimal load transfer regardless of body shape. There's also a sliding sternum strap with a safety whistle connecting the shoulder straps. Osprey's women's specific fit results in a packbag shape, harness, and hipbelt all designed to contour and be comfortable for a women's frame.
Accommodating backpackers of different heights, the pack is available in your choice of sizes. The XSmall/Small fits torsos ranging from 13.5"-17" and the Medium/Large fits from 16"-19.5".
Designed to comfortably carry 30-40 pounds of gear, the pack lends versatility for outings ranging from overnight trips to fast-moving, light-packing extended backpacking trips. The XSmall/Small size offers 3783 cubic inches of storage capacity and the Medium/Large offers 3967 cubic inches. The main packbag has full top access and a divider between the main compartment and a separate front entry sleeping bag compartment allows for organization of wet and dry gear. When hauling longer items or in need of access between the two compartments, you can unbuckle the divider and convert the packbag to a single, large compartment. There's also side zip access on both side panels to easily retrieve items in the middle of the packbag. A removable raincover is included so you'll never be caught unprepared by bad weather.
The pack has plenty of pockets and organizational features to separate gear and make it accessible at any point during your trip. The front has dual zippered pockets with a stretch woven stash pocket to quickly stow layers or extra gear. There's also two zippered pockets on the floating lid for small essentials. Side compression straps help you cinch down your load and also serve as lash points for additional gear. Stretch woven side pockets are the perfect place for stashing water bottles or other smaller items.
Other features include integrated ice ax loops, the Stow-on-the-Go trekking pole carry system, and removable straps located in front of the sleeping bag compartment that securely stow sleeping pads. An internal sleeve and center back exit port combine to make the pack hydration compatible (hydration system not included). Zippered pockets on the hipbelt keep snacks and essential items within easy reach.
Constructed of bluesign approved recycled fabrics with a DWR finish, the Osprey Aura AG 65 Women's internal frame backpack is available in your choice of sizes and colors.
