When you can't compromise on weather protection, the Osprey Downburst 34 Women's pack delivers with an IPX5 waterproof main compartment and quick-dry exterior--along with the capable fit, stability, and breathability you expect from Osprey.

Description

Full waterproof construction for confident weather protection: Rated IPX5 waterproof (non-submersible), the pack's main compartment is thoroughly protected from precipitation ranging from a light drizzle to heavy showers thanks to the RF-welded, TPU-laminated construction. The roll-top design includes a downward-facing zipper for weather resistance even when not fully rolled.
Adjustable AirSpeed suspension offers lightweight, well-ventilated support: The tensioned mesh backpanel adjusts to fit a wide range of torso lengths and offers excellent breathability and carrying comfort for day hiking and around-town exploration. A LightWire peripheral frame transfers loads to the hipbelt, taking the pressure off the user's shoulders.
Easily stow and store plenty of gear: While the other pockets on the Downburst are not waterproof, they offer plenty of options for less weather-sensitive gear. There are dual access side bottle pockets, zippered hipbelt pockets, and a gusseted front compression pocket. Side compression straps and various gear loops offer handy lash points. An external zippered hydration reservoir sleeve has a center pass-through port for a reservoir (sold separately).
Sustainable construction that doesn't compromise on functionality or durability: Tested to ensure that they meet Osprey's demanding technical requirements, the pack's fabrics are 100% recycled and bluesign-approved with a protective durable water-repellent treatment that's PFAS-free.
