Blurring the lines between an everyday pack and a technical daypack, the Osprey Hikelite 18 looks at home on city streets or in the office but is also well-equipped with trail worthy features and 1098 cubic inches of storage capacity.

Description

A "trampoline" style suspension system stretches a mesh backpanel across a tensioned LightWire aluminum frame, resulting in lightweight support, load stability, and ventilation. Padded, ventilated shoulder straps and a removable webbed hipbelt with padded hip "wings" further enhance fit and comfort. A sliding sternum strap adds additional fit adjustability.

In addition to the main packbag, there is a scratch-resistant organization pocket and stretch mesh side pockets. Other features include trekking pole attachment straps, a safety whistle integrated into the sternum strap buckle, and an included raincover in case weather takes a turn for the worse.

Great dayhike pack

Likes

Loved and used a Daylite plus for many short hikes. But always wished that it had a little more structure. Purchased this because its a Daylite with a frame. Absolutely no complaints with the quality, form and function of this day hiking pack. Provides structure, and keeps the pack off of my back. Ventilation is great. I can actually load more without the pack collapsing.
