Description

Providing customized fit and heavy load-hauling capability, the Osprey Xenith 75 is an ideal companion for multi-day backpacking trips. Convenient access points, innovative features and 4500+ cubic inches of storage capacity result in a pack built for the backcountry.

Constantly striving to enhance comfort and performance, Osprey has equipped the pack with a ground-breaking suspension system. A peripheral 3.55mm LightWire aluminum frame works in tandem with a mesh/foam backpanel, and a dual density BioForm CM foam harness to transfer weight to your hips, maximize stability, and reduce heat build-up between your back and the pack itself. Further ensuring a proper fit, the revolutionary BioForm CM hipbelt utilizes an ErgoPull closure that draws tension along the top and the bottom of the belt with split support wings. A sliding sternum strap and load-lifter straps allow you to fine-tune fit with on-the-go adjustments.

Each of three available sizes of the backpack offers torso adjustability. The Medium accommodates torso lengths ranging from 18"-21", the Large accommodates torso lengths ranging from 20"-23", and the Xlarge is designed for 22"-25" torso lengths. The BioForm CM harness and hipbelt maximize performance, fit, and comfort.

The huge main packbag has space to match the pack's suspension and enable you to comfortably carry 40-70 pounds of gear! It has full top access, but can also be reached via zippered vertical side access points. A lower sleeping bag compartment has a wide zippered mouth for easy packing and unpacking. Twin vertical storage pockets on the face of the pack have weather-resistant zippers and aid in the organization of gear. A large front pocket utilizes welded stretch woven fabric to serve as a convenient storage spot for layers of clothing or other gear. Multiple compression straps enable you cinch down your pack to keep contents safely and securely in place. These same straps also serve as lash points for additional gear.

Other features include integrated trekking pole loops, ice tool loops with tie-offs, removable sleeping pad straps, zippered hipbelt pockets and stretch side water bottle pockets. The pack's top lid is removable and can be used as a fully-functional summit pack or daypack. It even has its own integrated shoulder straps, sternum strap, reservoir sleeve, and organizational features. An external sleeve tucked behind the backpanel makes the pack hydration system compatible (system sold separately) without decreasing internal capacity.

The Osprey Xenith 75 internal frame backpack is available in your choice of size and color options.

Osprey Xenith 75 (2018)

Likes

Very comfortable when loaded and weighted down. Large fits very well. I am 5’10”” and 205 lbs. Very well built, tough. Lots of pockets and access zips as listed in the description, if your into that sorta thing.

Dislikes

Heavy as listed, but the nature of the beast with all off the features in the description of product.

Outstanding pack for multi-day adventures

Likes

- Suspension system, access points, durability, convertible brain, capacity, compartments for organization I own this and the Aether AG 70 pack and both are the most comfortable packs you could ask for. However, the Xenith excels beyond the Aether when it comes to rugged, backcountry, multi-day trips. The Xenith's extra durability and capacity is a welcome upgrade to the Aether. It's multiple access options make it easy to access that jacket or headlamp that's slipped down inside your pack and the separate pockets make organizing your gear a breeze. Finally, converting the brain into a day pack is genius and I've used it that way more than once. You can't go wrong with this pack.

Dislikes

Hipbelt is a little on the firm side, but the shape (contoured around hips) and the straps mitigate this issue by spreading the pressure over the entire surface.

This pack is everything I hoped for it came exactly as described. I would definitely recommend this pack to anyone that is in search of a durable pack that has more than enough storage to fit all of your gear.
