A high-performance option for extreme cold and challenging conditions Outdoor Research Capstone Heated Sensor Gloves utilize integrated batteries and ALTIHeat technology to deliver maximum warmth. Despite their burly construction the gloves also offer integrated touch-screen compatibility.
The gloves use a rechargeable 3-stage heating system to provide up to 8 hours of added warmth for bitter cold weather when used at the lowest setting. Easy-to-use heat control at the press of a button on the back of the gauntlets allows the wearer to power the gloves on and off and adjust temperature settings. Dual sets of lithium ion batteries (included) stow inside pockets on the gauntlet and plug into the glove. Once zipped up the batteries are out of the way and do not require any loose cords or components allowing for freedom of movement through the wrist and hand. When the weather is warmer the gloves can be powered off at the touch of a button.
A mixture of PrimaLoft HiLoft Silver and EnduraLoft synthetic insulations help to retain heat and offer substantial warmth on their own when conditions don't call for the use of the heating system. Waterproof/breathable GORE-TEX inserts provide extra protection during wet conditions. Full goat leather palms and palm patches offer a natural grip and durable hand protection. They also enable you to use touch-screen electronics without having to expose your hands and fingers to the elements. The abrasion-resistant nylon and spandex shell offers excellent durability and fit. Tricot linings further enhance fit and comfort.
Sold in pairs Outdoor Research Capstone Heated Sensor Gloves are available in your choice of size options. A universal adapter is included for charging the batteries.
