Light weight, flexible brim, good sun and rain coverage and packable. Adjustable cords for fit. I like these type of boonie hats.

Dislikes

Some say it can be hot, but I modified mine by adding two grommets on each side for air circulation.

I love the lightweight feel of the hat, while still keeping the brim shape. I hate hat brims that fold down in the slightest of wind.

Size! I cannot believe Oregon Research can’t offer a size SMALL in this hat. My issue with the medium, is it stretches a little after I put it on, so it’s almost instantly too big for my head.

light weight, wide coverage. nice strap to drop the hat behind on your back out of the way when not needed.

front of hat want to flip up in the wind. Not a deal breaker. I would buy another one.

Floats in water, dries quickly, wide enough brim that covers your neck/shoulders depending on your head angle. Floppy enough brim that you can crush it in your pack. As a bald man, love that there is no mesh/holes/etc. So many "sun" hats have lots of places that do not provide adequate sun protection if you do not also have plenty of hair. Yes, this means it can get a little bit warmer up top, but the material breathes well.

Dislikes

The attachment point between the strap/inner brim can be uncomfortable if you put it on quickly and your ears get stuck, but you can avoid it.

The wide and rigid brim. The hat can be folded into smaller size-easy to put it away in your pack or pants pocket. Sand color is my favorite.

This hat is lightweight with quite a malleable brim and a very comfortable inner sweat band. Sun hats aren't the most attractive apparel but it does a heck of a job keeping those rays away while allowing ventilation around your ears (one gripe I have about the sunrunner) The chin strap is removable but it's easier just to stuff it inside the hat.

I absolutely love OR but their logo is a tad big for my taste. Minor criticism from an amazing brand.

Great protection, comfy, good in hot weather, and very packable! Drawstring helps keep wind from taking it away. Overall, very happy with this hat.

Dislikes

Not particularly stylish, unless you're going for a just-came-back-from-a-safari kind of look, for which it's perfect. Not a problem for me though.

Works exactly as advertised. I typically use this hat while kayaking. Would also be helpful in rain.
