Built to tackle 8000-meter peaks, Arctic expeditions, and extremely cold climates, the Outdoor Research Men's Alti GORE-TEX Mitt has a modular design for layering in extreme conditions. Together, the waterproof/breathable, insulated outer shell and an insulated removable liner offer reliable warmth and weather protection.

Description

Modular design maximizes versatility: The shell of the external mitt utilizes premium 2L GORE-TEX construction. The purely 70D recycled nylon is completely waterproof and windproof. A water-resistant goat leather palm enhances grip and helps maintain dexterity. An internal liner mitt has a 210T ripstop nylon exterior that allows it to be worn as a stand-alone when conditions aren't as demanding.
Strategic use of insulations to ensure consistent warmth: The external mitt has a fleece lining to enhance internal comfort and synthetic Primaloft Gold with Cross Core and Y-Warm insulations combine to deliver warmth even in damp or wet conditions. The internal mitt is also lined and insulated to further increase both warmth and comfort.
Performance-oriented fit and features: The mitt has a cinchable gauntlet that provides extended coverage and lets you completely seal out drafts and spindrift. An integrated carabiner loop allows you to clip the mitt directly to a harness, a pack strap, or your jacket to ensure that you keep track of it.
