The versatile Outdoor Research Men's Ascendant Vest is a high-performance option for cool-to-cold weather aerobic activities. Innovative synthetic insulation deftly balances warmth weight and breathability.

The Pertex Microlight 20D ripstop nylon stretch-woven shell is both water-resistant and wind-resistant. It also incorporates stretch to ensure that movement remains uninhibited. Polartec Alpha Direct polyester insulation delivers warmth even if it becomes wet and also maximizes breathability to help dump excess heat during high-aerobic activity. The unlined fleece-like interior offers next-to-skin comfort and further enables excess heat to escape. An elastic drawcord hem enhances fit.

Other features include an internal stormflap behind the full-length front zipper front handwarmer pockets and a zippered chest pocket.

Available in your choice of size and color options the Outdoor Research Men's Ascendant Vest has a trim fit that is closely-cut to mirror your body's movement. It allows for layering over top but limits layering underneath it to baselayers and low-profile midlayers.
