Despite the casual look, Outdoor Research Men's Astro Pants utilize technical softshell fabric that makes them stretchy, breathable, and durable. With UPF 50+ sun protection, abrasion resistance, and plenty of pockets for storing valuables on the go, these pants have everything you need for hiking and other outdoor adventures.
The pants have a hybrid construction utilizing bluesign-approved nylon and spandex fabric blends. The back of the pants offers more abrasion resistance for sliding down rocky trails and the front has airy stretch for next-to-skin comfort. Together, these lightweight fabrics move moisture, promote breathability, dry quickly, and have a UPF 50+ sun protection rating. The stretch fit, articulated knees, and gusseted crotch provide complete freedom of movement and enhance comfort.
The pants are a pull-on style with soft elastic at the waist and have an internal drawcord for adjustment. There are plenty of pockets with two hand pockets (one of which has an interior mesh phone pocket) and a zippered pocket at the back waist.
