Ideal for warm-weather running, climbing, or other aerobic pursuits, the Outdoor Research Men's Echo Hoodie helps you fend off the sun while wicking moisture and combating odor. It also serves as an ultra-lightweight layering piece in colder weather.

The hoodie is constructed of bluesign-approved recycled polyester. The highly-breathable fabric effectively wicks away sweat and dries quickly if does become wet. It offers UPF sun protection and has an ActiveFresh treatment that helps to reduce odor. Flat seam construction enhances comfort and fit. An integrated hood and built-in thumbholes on the sleeves extend protective coverage.

Available in your choice of size and color options, the Outdoor Research Men's Echo Hoodie has a trim fit that anticipates it being worn next-to-skin while allowing you to comfortably layer over top of it.

It sounds strange to call something that weighs next to nothing a workhorse, but the Echo Hoodie is my do-everything layering piece so, trust me, it gets worked. I wear it running, climbing, and paddling. It’s my baselayer in winter regardless of whether I’m going on a true adventure or just going out to warm up the car and scrape ice off the windshield. I love the hood, I love the thumbholes, I love that even on warm days and in full sun this top is cool enough to wear.

THIS is the one for HOT climates and staying COOL

Likes

Ultralite, breathable and comfortable. Used it on a 5 day grueling backpack in Grand Canyon. Super hot days of 100+ Extreme conditions. This Hoodie was life support. I also brought a Mountain Hardware SPF55 shirt, that was way too warm and couldn't handle wearing it in full sun. I immediately switched back to the ECHO. If you run HOT like me, and are in a HOT environment, this is the best lightest sun shirt. Backpacking dawn to dusk in full sun, I never got a sunburn using this hoodie. Last day was a 24 miler ~ 9500ft vertical... and this shirt was perfect.

Stains easily, snags easily.
