Hybrid-mapped fabrication to balance weight, durability, and weather-resistance: The jacket's bluesign-approved 20D recycled nylon ripstop shell keeps weight to a minimum while still offering windproof performance and water-resistance. Toray Dermizax overlays on the hood, shoulders, upper arms, cuffs, and the hem ratchet up durability and add full waterproof protection in areas most vulnerable to moisture.
Maximum warmth and optimized compressibility deliver cold-weather confidence: The jacket is absolutely stuffed with high-loft 800-fill down insulation. This responsibly-sourced down has an incredible warmth-to-weight ratio that provides unmatched warmth and compressibility. An insulated, adjustable hood extends coverage and has an imbedded brim stiffener to help maintain your line of sight. Adjustable cuffs and an adjustable hem also help to keep cold air from sneaking inside.
Functional features focused on winter performance: The full-length front zipper has a no-snag design that ensures smooth action. There are two zippered, soft-lined hand pockets as well as a small, zippered chest pocket and an internal mesh pocket.
