Description

  • Blended 150 gram construction delivers the best of natural and synthetic performance: The inherent temperature-regulation, ability to wick moisture, and anti-odor properties of wool pair nicely with the increased durability and enhanced softness of recycled polyester and the stretchiness of elastane to keep you dry and comfortable if worn as a baselayer or as a cool-weather top layer.
  • Sun-protection for use as a top layer: Its UPF 30 rating makes the top a great option for use as outerwear in full sun on the snow, on the water, or on the trail.
  • Additional special features incorporated for maximum versatility: A 12.5" front zipper allows for easier on and off while also allowing you to vent at the collar and integrated thumbholes on the sleeves eliminate the gapping that can otherwise lead to a poor fit or allow cold air to sneak inside.

How does it fit?
The Women's Alpine Onset Merino 150 Half Zip Plus is designed to be worn next-to-skin and its close fit does not allow for layering beneath it. Outdoor Research Plus sizes use a different hip-to-waist ratio with a grading that accounts for differences between proportions and body shapes rather than just making larger versions of their apparel pieces to better ensure a proper fit.
