Description
- Lightweight livable shelter for three: The tent's angled pole hubs and top crosspole create a spacious interior with a peak height of 42 inches. A single front-access door saves weight and opens into the protected vestibule where you can store shoes and gear out of the weather. The full coverage rainfly includes a storm flap over the vestibule zipper to prevent leaks.
- Organize and stash your gear: Inside the tent, there's a large overhead ceiling pocket where you can store extra layers or other gear you need quick access to. Three smaller mesh pockets also help you keep gear like headlamps or chargers easily accessible and off the ground. Loops on the interior can be used to secure lights or a gear loft (sold separately).
- Fast and intuitive setup: The single aluminum poleset uses color coding that matches up with the other parts of the tent to make setup and takedown simple and efficient. Pre-cut guylines and tensioners are attached to rainfly so that all you need to do is stake them down when setting up camp.
- Fast Fly conversion with optional footprint: When you want to travel fast and save weight, you can pitch the C Bar 3 with just the poleset, rainfly, and optional footprint (sold separately). This minimal shelter setup weighs in at just 3 pounds, 4 ounces!
Storage and optional accessories
The C Bar 3 has a trail weight of 4 pounds, 5 ounces and packs down to 21" x 6.5" in its included stuff sack. To extend the life of your tent and protect the floor from sharp rocks and roots, Big Agnes recommends using the C Bar 3 Footprint (sold separately). The tent is compatible with the Big Agnes Triangle, Trapezoid, and Square gear lofts (all sold separately).
