Let's be honest, the Big Agnes Captain Comfort Deluxe Camp is probably more comfortable than your bed at home! Up to five full inches of foam covered in a soft stretch fabric make for a plush sleeping surface wherever you roam.
Description
- Extra-comfortable for a great night's sleep anywhere: The Captain Comfort uses high-density foam in a 3-D shape to create vertical side walls and a mattress-like feel. Horizontal coring in the foam helps to reduce the overall packed size and weight. The thickness varies from four to five inches depending on the pad size. Soft-touch stretch polyester on the top feels great next-to-skin.
- Warmth for any conditions: A robust R-value that varies from 8.3 to 9.9 (depending on the pad size) provides excellent insultation and makes these pads perfectly capable for cold-weather camping and van life.
- Multiple sizes for solo or dual camping: This luxurious pad is available in an individual and two double-wide sizes to fit your space and needs. It does include a side-opening storage sack with a webbing handle for easy transport when needed.
Sizing, inflation and storage
The Captain Comfort Deluxe Camp self-inflating sleeping pad is available in three sizes: Extra Wide Long (78" x 30" x 5"), 41x72 Double Wide (72" x 41" x 4") and 52x78 Double Wide (78" x 52" x 5"). Dual two-way pull tab valves can be opened for inflation or deflation and have a stopper flap so you can also make smaller adjustments. When rolled, the pad compresses well for its size and fits into the provided side-entrance storage sack.
