Look no further than the Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL 3 Long tent, which has all of the features that made the award-winning original so popular and extra inches in the length and peak height so it's livable for folks looking for a bit more breathing room.
Stretching 96" in length, the interior of the tent is 70" wide at the head and tapers to a width of 62" at the feet with a peak height of 47". With 44 square feet of interior space and a trail weight of only 3 pounds, 9 ounces, the tent offers ample room for 3 taller hikers or serves as a super spacious shelter for two. Dual vestibules offer 18 square feet (9 square feet per vestibule) of additional weather-protected external storage space. The vestibules have a two-zipper design that allows one or both to be pitched as an awning.
Interior mesh pockets and a three-dimensional storage bin at the feet provide places to stash gear and clothes while media pockets enable headphone/ear bud cord routing from phones or other devices. Integrated gear loft loops offer a connection point for the Big Agnes Large Trapezoid, Wall, Large Wall, Square and Triangle Gear Lofts (all sold separately).
The tent's DAC Featherlite NFL aluminum poles are both lightweight and durable. The single hub/pole design works in conjunction with the tent body's integrated clips to make setting up the tent fast, easy, and intuitive. An additional short section of pole runs across the roof of the tent and connects easily via an innovative attachment that pulls the tent body taut, increasing the verticality of the interior walls and helping to maximize the spaciousness of the vestibules. Reflecting an overall commitment to maintaining as light a packed weight as possible, superlight aluminum stakes are included to further secure the freestanding tent.
Ample mesh on the tent body and vents on the rainfly maximize cross ventilation and provides circulation to fight condensation build-up. Coated with 1200mm waterproof polyurethane, the silicone-treated double ripstop nylon floor and rainfly are lightweight and durable. Solution-dyed fabrics improve UV-resistance and reduce energy consumption during the manufacturing process. All of the tent's seams are seal-taped with waterproof, solvent-free polyurethane tape (no PVC or VOCs) to further protect the tent from the elements.
