Description
- Warm, compressible, water-resistant down insulation: The jacket's lofty and compressible 800-fill down insulation provides midweight warmth without the excess bulk or weight of a heavier puffy. A HyperDry treatment grants the insulation water-resistance that untreated down does not inherently possess so it retains its insulating qualities even in wet or damp conditions. A baffled design keeps the insulation evenly distributed for consistent warmth.
- Thoughtful fit and performance features: The jacket's 100% recycled nylon taffeta shell looks great and has a DWR treatment to fend off light precipitation. An insulated hood with an internal brim extends protective coverage. Stretch knit cuffs provide a close, forgiving fit and an integrated cordlock adjustment allows you to dial in the fit of the hem.
- Convenient pockets for storage and enhanced warmth: The jacket has a zippered internal chest pocket and two insulated, zippered front pockets that provide a warm place to get your hands out from the cold. The left-hand pocket also doubles as a self-stowing pocket for the hoody when not in use.
How does it fit?
The Men's Access Down 2.0 Hoody has a regular fit. It features slight body shaping but is a predominantly straighter cut that comfortably accommodates baselayers and midlayers being worn beneath the jacket. See the Size Chart for Black Diamond's specific size recommendations.
