The Black Diamond Women's Distance 8 is an innovative vest-style running pack that utilizes a strategic design to strip away unnecessary weight while providing bolstered, weather-resistance for trail running and self-supported fast-and-light mountain projects.
Description
- Purpose-built for mountain running and technical pursuits: In addition to the roll-top main compartment and side stash pockets, the pack has multiple harness pockets and a built-in storage sleeve for collapsed Z-poles (sold separately). Two integrated pockets are designed to comfortably carry soft flasks (flasks sold separately). Dual side compression straps allow you to snug down the pack to secure whatever you're carrying.
- Vest-like fit for freedom of movement: The innovative harness uses stitchless taping over top of the highly breathable shoulder straps to reduce weight and enhance movement. Mesh stretched across the ridged backpanel enhances airflow to help keep you cool.
- Lightweight, weather-resistant, durable fabrication: A combination of recycled nylon, PE, and recycled polyester grant the pack an excellent strength-to-weight ratio to help shave ounces while still holding up to the wear-and-tear of adventuring in the mountains.
