The boot's upper is constructed of full-grain waterproof Snowplow leather which is also salt-repellent. All seams are sealed to ensure that your feet stay dry and comfortable. A coffee-based charcoal fleece lining keeps feet and toes toasty warm and also has natural anti-microbial properties to keep odor at bay. NOTE: There is a break-in period with this boot due to the supportive full-grain leather construction.
A dual-density Chaco Luvseat EVA midsole is the key to the all-day comfort provided by the boots. Confirmed by the American Podiatric Medical Association this platform supports your foot's anatomical structure offering arch support that minimizes fatigue and aids in proper body alignment.
A non-marking ChacoGrip rubber outsole performs well on varied surfaces and 3mm lugs enhance traction on soft surface.
The Chaco Women's Borealis Tall Waterproof insulated boot is available in your choice of color options and women's full and half sizes. To keep the leather on this boot in good shape and to prevent water absorption in the upper for the life of the boot you should apply a leather conditioner or wax paste waterproofing treatment (both sold separately).
