Description
- Ultralight construction that doesn't sacrifice durability: Weighing in at about two and a half pounds, the pack is made of robust ripstop material reinforced with UHMWPE fibers for outstanding strength and abrasion resistance.
- Customizable suspension for all-day comfort: Deuter's Aircontact back system uses a spring steel frame for support and strategically placed air spacer mesh to cut weight while increasing ventilation across the back. The VariClip torso length adjustment and ergonomically shaped hip fins create a tailored fit with superior carrying comfort over long distances.
- Modular design with plenty of storage for multi-day or thru-hiking trips: This streamlined pack has top-loading access through a spindrift collar that's under the floating lid, which has a secure zippered pocket. There's an extra five liters of capacity in the collar just in case you need some extra space. On the outside, there are two stretch mesh pockets on the sides and one on the front. Gear loops and modular gear straps give you the flexibility to attach additional gear to the top, bottom, or any side of the pack, or you can just take them off and leave them at home!
- Deuter's commitment to sustainable construction: A certified bluesign product, the Aircontact Ultra features body fabric and components made using environmentally friendly, resource-efficient manufacturing practices. It is climate neutral, PFAS free, and a Green Button certified product, which is the German government's state-supervised certification mark to establish compliance standards for sustainably produced textiles.
About Deuter's SL fit
Deuter's SL packs are designed to fit a woman's form, as well as narrower and shorter builds that might not experience the best fit from standard-sized packs. The ergonomic design includes a shorter back length and contoured S-shaped shoulder straps that are set closer together for slimmer shoulders and taper at the ends for a precision fit that won't chafe. The ends of the hipbelt also taper in a more upright position with a conical shape to better fit wider hips.
