Deuter’s Kid Comfort Pro was designed for families wanting to explore the outdoors together with a safe, comfortable child carrier. Offering excellent ventilation, high back child seating, integrated sun protection and a detachable daypack, this carrier really suits parents with outdoor goals.

The carrier offers the firm support you need for longer-duration hiking but is also compact enough for everyday use. A locking kickstand makes the carrier sturdy when standing on its own. Further, the aluminum frame has a broad platform, making it unlikely to tip over. Dual grab handles are convenient for moving the carrier.

The carrier's VariSlide harness system accommodates varying torso lengths (15"-21") of parents while perforated shoulder straps and VariFlex ECL hip belt help to keep you cool and comfortable on your child-hauling adventures. The hip belt has pull-forward technology to make adjustments easy. Load-lifter straps aid in the distribution of weight, providing further stability and comfort.

The sensible seat and foot rests adjust in height and width to accommodate a growing child. Note that the carrier is suitable for children who can sit up by themselves. Two side stretch pockets, a stretch front slot pocket with an adjustable hook, and a large bottom zippered pocket give you space to stash clothing, diapers and other gear.

The carrier also includes a detachable daypack. This versatile daypack has an interior net pocket and can be attached to the chest strap of the carrier. You can stow in the carrier’s bottom compartment, or you can wear the pack and use the carrier’s lower compartment as additional storage space.

Airy and soft materials line the child’s high-backed seating area – padding the frame in the seating area – with stronger, washable fabrics near the feet. A low-profile chin pad is included, but, if you want to provide your child with a more plush resting spot, Deuter does offer a softer KC Chin Pad (sold separately).

The carrier includes an integrated sunroof to shade your child. The full-length KC Raincover Deluxe (sold separately) can be attached to further protect from the elements. A long, zippered pocket on the back stows the included sunroof and allows you to carry a hydration system (reservoir not included). A 3M reflector keeps you visible, an integrated holder secures your keys, and zippered hip belt pockets secure smaller items.
