Ready for gear-heavy hiking or even minimalist overnight backpacking, the versatile Deuter Speed Lite 28 SL Women's pack has a lightweight frame for carrying comfort and plenty of space for extra layers, food, emergency supplies and more.

Deuter's SL packs are designed to fit a woman's form, as well as narrower and shorter builds that might not experience the best fit from standard-sized packs. The ergonomic design includes a shorter back length and contoured S-shaped shoulder straps that are set closer together for slimmer shoulders and taper at the ends for a precision fit that won't chafe.

The combination of a flexible, tensioned Delrin U-frame and a padded backpanel creates a comfortable fit and offers excellent load stabilization. Broad mesh and strategic cutaways in the backpanel enhance ventilation for aerobic activity. An adjustable sternum strap and lightweight hip fins with an adjustable waist buckle help to enhance both fit and comfort.

The main packbag has top-loading access with a fixed, protective lid. Inside, the large interior houses a zipped valuables pocket and a stretch compartment that can be used with the built-in tube exit point to make the pack hydration system compatible (system sold separately).

On the outside, twin side stretch pockets accommodate water bottles or other gear. Compression straps enable you to cinch down on the packbag to keep contents secure and aid in load stabilization. The lid has a large, zippered pocket, and there's a stretch mesh pocket on the front of the pack. The harness also offers storage with one zippered and one open stretch mesh pocket, and the hipbelt has one zippered pocket. Gear loops, daisy chain webbing, and adjustable bungees round out the gear attachment options.
