- Stable and ventilated fit for go-anywhere comfort: The Deuter Airstripes back system uses mesh-covered foam padding to provide breathable support. The ergonomically designed padding leaves a wide ventilation channel in the middle to keep fresh air circulating when you're wearing the pack. Contoured, padded shoulder straps ensure a full range of motion. You can dial in the fit with the sternum strap and webbing hipbelt, both of which are removable.
- Expandable storage with multiple access points for loading or removing gear: The pack's main compartment has multiple access points for your convenience. There's a roll-top closure with a cinch and zippered opening. When not using the extra five liters of storage, the cinch helps secure the load along with a front flap and compression strap. If you need more room, fill it up to the zippered opening and extend the compression strap to keep everything in place. When you want to get complete access without having to dig around, lay the pack down and use the U-shaped back panel zipper to open up.
- Smart organization for work or play (or both!): In addition to the main access points, a zippered bottom compartment lets you stash shoes or other items you might want to keep separate from the main area, but has a removable base so it can just be a part of one large compartment. The backpanel access reveals a zip-in organizer that has pockets for documents, a tablet and more, along with a padded sleeve that fits laptops up to 15 inches. On the outside, you can stash a water bottle in a stretch side pocket and there's a discreet zippered pocket hidden under the compression flap to store small essentials (including keys, thanks to the internal key clip).
- Durable, recycled construction: The pack's PFAS-free fabric is made from 100% recycled polyester that's sourced from post-consumer PET bottles. It's also bluesign certified, and Deuter takes steps in the manufacturing process to reduce carbon emissions and offset any unavoidable emissions to make this pack carbon neutral.
