Lightweight, close-fitting, and highly weather-resistant, the Exped Impulse 15 is a streamlined option for technical day hiking and alpine climbing. Despite its sleek, lightweight profile, the pack carries well and incorporates numerous organizational features.
A thermo-formed backpanel hugs close to your body to provide an uninhibited range of motion. Molded channels allow warm air to escape so you stay dry and comfortable. Contoured, padded shoulder straps and a webbing waist strap have built-in adjustability to enhance fit and in load stability. If you're wearing a climbing harness or just want to shave weight, you can remove the waist strap entirely.
The panel-loading pack body is constructed of abrasion-resistant and water-repellent 210D Robic HD ripstop nylon. In addition to the main compartment, there are three large exterior stretch pockets and a small zippered exterior pocket. There are also interior zippered mesh pockets and a water bottle pocket (water bottle not included).
Other features include front and side gear attachment points, a cord-compression system, and a built-in hydration sleeve (hydration system not included).
