The burly big brother of the award winning Crocodiles gaiters Outdoor Research Expedition Crocodiles deliver rugged durability and reliable protection for mountaineering trips and cold-weather expeditions.
The leg sections of the Expedition Crocodiles are made of waterproof breathable 3L GORE-TEX and 1000D Cordura ratchets up durability on the foot and back of the leg. The lining of the boot is a combination of Cordura and packcloth. Hook-and-loop front and top closures combine with a large circumference entry to grant access to large alpine or mountaineering boots. A Shear tab secures the front closure at the toe of the boot and keeps it from catching on trail debris or crusty snow and ice. The triple-bar tacked BioThane instep strap and buckle system provides a broad range of adjustability.
