Calling the Fjallraven Splitpack a travel duffel is selling it short. The super rugged waxed pack comes equipped with padded and ventilated shoulder straps, 35 liters of storage capacity, two large interior compartments, and stylish utilitarian aesthetics.
The pack is constructed of burly G-1000 Heavy Duty Eco waxed fabric. This blend of recycled polyester and organic cotton is highly abrasion-resistant and UV-protective. Its dense weave makes it weather-resistant and depending on how much wax is applied, it can be made fully weatherproof. NOTE that additional Fjallraven Greenland Wax is sold separately, and the fabric does require periodic waxing for optimal protective performance. The wax is easy to apply, allows you to customize the level of protection, and even gives each jacket a unique aesthetic over time.
A large, rugged zippered provides wide open access to the interior of the pack. The zipper an also be used with a travel lock (lock not included) for optimal security while venturing abroad. There are two large compartments inside the pack with zippered mesh dividers. Three additional internal mesh pockets aid in organization and separation of clothes and gear. Two zippered external pockets keep important items in close reach. In addition to the adjustable shoulder straps, there are sturdy webbing handles.
