Offering easy adjustability to accommodate varying boot sizes the Hillsound Trail Crampon PRO delivers confident reliable winter traction. Constructed of heat-treated S50C carbon steel the 10-point crampon is ideal for glacier travel and icy or snowy approaches.
A simple ratchet buckle binding allows the crampon to attach securely to a wide array of shoes and hiking boots. The length of the crampon's spring bar can be adjusted with a simple push-button design. No tools are required. A single pull tab makes it extremely easy to tighten and release the binding and an integrated "stopper" prevents unwanted release of the ratchet buckle in deeper snow. An "anti-balling" pad prevents snow from building up beneath the crampon and jeopardizing traction.
Sold in pairs the Hillsound Trail Crampon PRO is available in Regular and XLarge size options. NOTE: The crampon is not recommended for mountaineering or climbing use and is only advised for use with stiff-soled boots or footwear with supportive shanks.
