The Jetboil HalfGen Base Camp Stove System is a streamlined standalone cooking system with exceptional burner control and an expandable design that gives it the flexibility to become an outdoor cooking range. The stove's burner runs off a standard 16.4 ounce propane canister (sold separately) and is capable of putting out 10,000 BTUs to boil a liter of water in just over three minutes.
The HalfGen weighs in under four pounds, making it lighter--and certainly smaller--than most car camping stoves. Jetboil's regulator valve technology provides incremental heat adjustments from a light simmer up to a full boil, and is regulated for consistent performance to 20 degrees F. A built in igniter makes lighting the burner easy and singe-free. When cooking for a larger group, use the integrated fuel output port to attach other JetLink-compatible stoves and accessories (sold separately) without the need for additional fuel.
As a complete stove system, the HalfGen includes a nine-inch ceramic-coated fry pan for eco-friendly non-stick performance, a windscreen for improved performance in less than optimal conditions, and a carry bag for easy trandport. The system also uses rubber straps to keep the pan and stove together if you want to leave the carry bag at home to save weight and space. The packed size is 9.4" x 3.9".
