LEKI Khumbu trekking poles combine the lightweight durability of aluminum construction, a broad range of adjustability with a tall maximum height, and user-friendly locking mechanisms provide reliable backcountry performance.
Description
- Aluminum construction balances weight and long-term durability: The pole consists of three telescoping aluminum shafts sections that provide strength without excessive weight. Easy-to-use external locking mechanisms allow for on-the-go height adjustments with confidence that sections hold securely in place while in use.
- Aergon grips provide ergonomic support and comfort: Incorporating a positive angle that preserves a natural position for your wrists, the dynamic lightweight grips have an ovoid shape that can be palmed or held traditionally. The grips are made from 80% natural ground cork and 20% latex making them strong and comfortable. Rubberized dimpled tops offer textured grip points and easy-to-adjust straps reduce stress on your wrists and provide additional security and comfort.
- Carbide flex tips ensure dependable traction: The poles' tips deflect up to 30 degrees without damaging the lower pole sections. This reduces the risk of pole breakage if poles get caught between rocks or tree roots on the trail. LEKI's Trekking Baskets are included and are interchangeable with other baskets (sold separately).
