Delivering all-season performance, the LEKI Sherpa FX One Carbon trekking poles offer maximum collapsibility and a streamlined weight without sacrificing performance and comfort. Hybrid aluminum and carbon construction balances weight and durability.

Incorporating a positive angle that preserves a natural position for your wrists, the dynamic lightweight Aergon Air grips have an ovoid shape that can be palmed or held traditionally. Rubberized tops with a diamond surface pattern offer textured grip points and lightweight easy-to-adjust straps reduce stress on your wrists and provide additional security and comfort. The extended length of the grips allows you to grasp lower on the shafts, eliminating the need to shorten the length of the poles every time you encounter a steep slope or side hill traverse.

The "foldable" design of the poles consists of a concealed inner cord that runs through all four shaft sections. After each shaft section is aligned, an internal push button lock tensions and locks the poles securely in place. Simply pull on the aligned sections until you hear the confirming "click" that the sections are locked securely in place. When you are ready to collapse the poles, push in the lock button to disengage the lock and fold up your poles. This innovative design saves weight and reduces packed size to just 15".

NOTE: While the poles do offer foldable collapsibility, they are not height-adjustable. To accommodate varying heights and preferences, the poles are available in fixed length options in 5 cm increments ranging from 120 cm (47.2") all the way up to 140 cm (55.1") in length.

Carbide flex tips deflect up to 30 degrees without damaging the lower pole sections. This reduces the risk of pole breakage if poles get caught between rocks or tree roots on the trail. Low profile trekking baskets are installed on the poles and can be swapped with the included Big Mountain Binding Baskets or other interchangeable baskets (sold separately).

The poles are treated with a clear coat to protect them from scratches while providing an attractive polished finish.
