The Marmot Limelight UL 2P tent pulls off the nifty trick of coming in under 3 pounds while still providing ample space and extra storage. Its excellent space-to-weight ratio makes the tent a truly livable 3-season option for up to 2 backpackers.
Description
- An efficient balance of weight and space: By using ultra-lightweight 100% polyester ripstop fabrics and DAC Featherlite NFL aluminum poles, the tent offers exceptional strength without excess bulk or weight. The tent has over 31 square feet of interior space with additional weather-protected space in the dual vestibules.
- Thoughtful features to store gear out-of-the-way and maximize usable space: The 2-person tent has a side entry door for each occupant. Internal "gear cubbies" tucked beside each door offer convenient places to stash clothes or other items without cutting into the space devoted to sleeping bags and pads. There are also mesh wall pockets and a "lampshade" pocket that stows headlamps and lets them work as ambient interior lighting.
- Confidence-inspiring weather protection: Despite the lightweight construction, the tent dependably fends off the weather. A full-coverage rainfly, a bathtub-style floor, and fully taped seams all the way around ensure that precipitation remains outside. Ample mesh in the body of the internal tent and vents in the rainfly work in tandem to reduce condensation build-up.
