The innovative Marmot Men's PrimaLoft Evolve Aerothermal Hoody melds the best qualities of a fleece and a lightweight insulating jacket into a single aerobic performer. It moves with you, effectively regulates temperature, and keeps you from having to constantly change out layers.
Description
- Performance-focused fabrication and design: The full-zip hoody's high-lofty synthetic insulation mimics the softness of fleece but without the weight and bulk. The airy fabric adds warmth while still providing breathability to dump excess heat which is key when you're pushing hard. It also does a great job wicking moisture, so you stay dry and comfortable without having to shed a layer only to pull it back on as soon as you stop moving. A recycled polyester ripstop exterior adds lightweight abrasion-resistance.
- Additional fit and performance features: A close-fitting elastic-bound hood extends protective coverage over your neck and head. Raglan sleeves and built-in stretch ensure a free range of motion, and an elasticized hem and cuffs enhance overall fit. Two zippered front pockets stash small essentials and provide a place to get hands out of the elements.
How does it fit?
The Men's PrimaLoft Evolve Aerothermal Hoody has a regular fit. This cut incorporates relaxed shoulders and a straight hem. Its best worn as a stand-alone or only over low-profile baselayers, but it does allow you to comfortably layer a hardshell over top of it if weather takes a turn for the worse.
