Striking a balance between weight, storage capacity, and maneuverability, the Mountainsmith Tour lumbar pack is ruggedly constructed, offers 550 cubic inches of storage capacity, and incorporates smart, modern organizational features.

The pack’s waistbelt has a wide wrap-around style and utilizes an ergonomic pull system to provide on-the-go adjustment. A ridged EVA foam backpanel offers stabilizing support while allowing for airflow to help keep you cool and comfortable. Breathable foam padding provides more support than comparable lumbar packs and remains comfortable to wear even on hot days.

There are numerous storage compartments and multiple organizational options. In addition to the main compartment, there is a backpanel stash pocket, a zippered front panel pocket, a zippered internal security pocket, and even a padded internal sleeve that safely stows a tablet! Two smaller waistbelt pockets keep valuables close at hand and they’re large enough to carry “plus sized” phones. A front compression sleeve allows you to stash items externally and still keep them compressed and secure. Reinforced side pockets can accommodate up to 32 ounce water bottles (bottles not included).

With varied carrying options, the versatile pack can also be used as a shoulder bag, a briefcase, or even as an add-on pocket for a full-size backpack. A rain cover (sold separately) is available to protect the pack in inclement weather.
