The 2-person MSR Remote 2 tent delivers reliable 4-season mountaineering performance with livability not often found in the category. You enjoy maximum weather-protection while still having elbow room, protective external storage, and built-in ventilation.
Measuring 87" x 55", the tent has a 33 square foot interior. A 44" peak height helps to enhance livability and dual vestibules offer a combined 22 square feet of additional protected storage space.
Three strong, supportive, and lightweight Easton Syclone poles provide rigid structure. A central support frame further enhances livability by increasing the verticality of the tent's side walls. This design also does a great job of shedding snow. MSR stakes are included to aid in further securing the pitch of the freestanding tent.
Anticipating usage in cold weather, the body of the tent has very little mesh. A burly 68D ripstop polyester rainfly has a 1500mm polyurethane coating and the 40D ripstop nylon floor has a 10,000mm treatment. Together, they make the tent extremely waterproof and highly durable. Integrated rainfly vents help to promote airflow to combat condensation. The MSR Universal Footprint 2-Person (sold separately) can be used to bolster durability and protect the tent floor against the elements.
