Description
- Rugged construction for maximum stability, durability, and weather protection: The boot has a nubuck leather upper with a protective TPU rand around the edge, and a tall, molded collar that uses memory foam to cushion and support the wearer while allowing for natural movement. The flexible textile tongue promotes unrestricted uphill travel and breathability, and the metal lace hardware ensures smooth and even lacing under tension. A GORE-TEX lining delivers waterproof/breathable protection, so your foot remains dry and comfortable.
- Tough, supportive midsole optimized for long treks and carrying heavy loads: The boot's polyurethane cushioning system is formulated for long-term compression resistance and impact protection, making the Bridger ideal for extended backpacking trips and the support of heavy loads. A 3D molded TPU shank and heel stabilizer combine to enhance overall load stability and underfoot support. The anatomically designed O FIT Rugged Trail insole is made of poured polyurethane that increases cushioning and support. The deep heel cup and medium-to-high arch support keep the foot properly positioned for heel lockdown and minimizing blisters.
- All-condition traction for whatever terrain you encounter: Recognizing that backpackers and hikers are going to encounter varied terrain and conditions, Oboz outfitted the boot with Vibram's Megagrip rubber for dependable grip on both wet and dry surfaces. An aggressive lug pattern bolsters traction and an integrated gaiter channel lets you easily pair the boots with protective leg gaiters. There's also a protective toe cap to blunt the impact of any kicked rocks or roots.
