Amazing Service

Because you deserve it.

The Osprey Kestrel 38 backpack is a versatile option for gear-heavy day hiking or light-packing overnights. It's a durable workhorse that delivers excellent load stability, offers great organization, and has all the backcountry features you need.

Description

  • Suspension system provides load-hauling capability and built-in ventilation: A 3.5mm LightWire peripheral frame combines with an Atilon framesheet to transfer the load evenly, a mesh-covered ridged foam backpanel maximizes ventilation while still keeping the load close to your body, and a padded harness and hipbelt enhance overall fit and aid in load support. An adjustable sternum strap has a safety whistle built right into the buckle.
  • Sized to ensure a proper fit: While the pack has numerous points of adjustability, it also comes in two size variations to fully ensure a proper fit. The Small/Medium best fits 16"-20" torso lengths and the Large/Xlarge best fits from 19"-23".
  • Durable fabrics guarantee long-lived performance: The main body uses 420D recycled nylon and the bottom is reinforced with 500D recycled high-tenacity nylon.
  • Sustainable construction that doesn't compromise on functionality or durability: Tested to ensure that they meet Osprey's demanding technical requirements, the pack's main body fabrics are GRS-certified recycled and bluesign-approved and the protective durable water-repellent treatment is PFAS-free.

Check out all of these other special features!
