The Osprey Skimmer 28 Women's is a large daypack that is equipped with its own hydration system. It also has a cushioned mesh and foam suspension that enhances comfort and ventilation.

Committed to providing all outdoor enthusiasts with optimal performance, Osprey equips its women's packs with gender-specific design features. Harnesses are cut wider through the collar bone area and have an ergonomic taper in the chest area. Offering a women's specific cant and a narrower cut, the hipbelts found on Osprey's women's packs also cater to female users.

The pack's suspension uses EVA foam stretched over a foam framesheet for comfort and support. An open mesh backpanel allows your back to breathe resulting in a cooler, dryer hike. The hip belt and shoulder harness use mesh cushioning over die-cut foam to provide a comfortable fit. An adjustable sternum strap helps you dial in the fit.

This pack has a wide, bucket-style opening to make easy to load and unload. Inside, there is an interior volume of 1709 cubic inches. That includes a dedicated hydration pocket and an included 2.5-liter Hydraulics LT reservoir. The drinking hose connects smartly to a magnetic bite valve attachment on the pack's sternum strap. There is also a handy heat-embossed, scratch-free zippered slash pocket, perfect to safely hold your glasses or phone. For more storage, there are 2 large zippered side panel pockets, dual zippered hip belt pockets and a front shove-it pocket.

On the exterior, the upper and lower compression straps are useful for securing the pack’s contents. This pack uses the upper straps as a trekking pole attachment system. Along with dedicated lower loops, the straps give you a place to put your poles when you don’t need them. There are also daisy chain attachment points and an ice axe loop.
