Description
- Lightweight design for easier ascents and stability in the mountains: Osprey relies on their sturdy Lightwire frame and an HDPE framesheet to create structure without bulk in the suspension. Die cut EVA foam in the harness and backpanel offer comfort even under load. There's also an adjustable webbing hipbelt and a sternum strap with a safety whistle to complete the fit.
- Smart gear access: The pack offers unique, panel-loading access with a zippered opening that lines up with the backpanel so you can lay it on the ground and access the contents without dragging the harness and hipbelt through snow or wet ground. Inside, there's a side panel sleeve for small items or a thermos and a zippered stash pocket with a key clip.
- Snow-specific design for skiing or snowboarding: Designed for the demands of the backcountry, this pack has multiple carry options, including an A-frame or diagonal ski carry with a frame-anchored, tuck-away ski lasso for added stability, and vertical or horizontal snowboard carry. A stowaway helmet holder, ice tool attachment, stash pocket for googles or accessories, and sled carry loops round out its mountain-ready features.
- Safety-minded setup for peace of mind: The zippered front compartment is easily accessible and has pockets and storage designed for your avalanche safety kit, and the bright external zipper aids visibility. You can also easily carry a GPS/radio unit inside the pack and attach the mic to the harness via webbing attachment points.
- Sustainable construction that doesn't compromise on functionality or durability: The pack's main body fabrics are both made from 100% recycled ocean-sourced nylon that's tough and durable, with the front panel reinforced with a carbonite coating for extra weather resistance and protection from the sharp edges of tools and skis. The pack itself is a certified bluesign product, which ensures that environmental and social considerations have gone into its design and construction.
