The Osprey StraightJacket Compression Sack allows you to free up space in your pack by reducing the packed size of your sleeping bag or other bulky gear. Integrated compression straps cinch down tight to reduce the volume of your bag or other soft and compressible items such as clothing.
Featuring a compressed rectangular shape that allows for efficient packing the StraightJacket Compression Sack provides zippered access to the main compartment. Nylon wings and buckles offer easy cinching and release. While not fully waterproof the StraightJacket Compression Sack is highly water-resistant thanks to waterproof-coated fabric and seams. (Note: Zippers are not waterproof).
Accounting for the wide variety of sleeping bags styles and sizes as well as individual backpackers' needs to compress other types of gear the Osprey StraightJacket Compression Sack is available in a range of size options (and several color choices as well). The 8L size measures 8”x15”x6”; the 12L size measures 8”x16”x7”; the 20L size measures 12”x17”x9”; the 32L size measures 13”x17”x11”.
