Truly built for any outdoor activity, the Outdoor Research Men's Ferrosi Over Short 12 Inch have comfortable stretch for hiking, a harness compatible waist for climbing, a fit to accommodate a bike chamois for mountain biking, and sun protection for paddling! Made of durable stretch softshell, these shorts are quick-drying, abrasion-resistant, and have a 12 inch inseam for reliable coverage.
A blend of bluesign-approved, partially recycled nylon and spandex stretch woven ripstop fabrics gives the short a soft feel and provides comfort-enhancing stretch. Despite the lightweight construction, the fabric still holds up extremely well to abrasion, is water-resistant (not waterproof), promotes breathability, and even serves up UPF 50+ sun protection! The stretch fit provides complete freedom of movement, and a gusseted crotch enhances comfort.
The shorts have a zippered fly with a button closure, belt loops, and an elastic waist. There are two drop-in hand pockets and a zippered pocket on the right hip.
