Mid-height Outdoor Research Men's Helium Gaiters provide low-profile hiking boots and trail shoes with durable waterproof/breathable protection. Utilizing lightweight, high-tenacity fabrics, they provide the reliability of a traditional waterproof leg gaiter at a fraction of the weight.
The legs of the gaiters employ bluesign-approved waterproof/breathable Pertex Shield Diamond Fuse ripstop nylon fabric. Rugged 420D packcloth with a PU coating adds lower leg durability. Elastic across the back of the heel aids in both fit and maneuverability.To ensure a proper fit over a wide variety of footwear styles, the gaiters have reinforced lace hooks, drawcord cinches at the top of the hem, and replaceable Hypalon instep straps.
