The exterior of the jacket is constructed of durable 100% recycled nylon and it is insulated with lightweight, compressible, and responsibly-sourced 700-fill power down. Renowned for their compressible properties and efficiency in providing insulation the feathers and fibers of down have an incredibly soft comfortable feel and continue to provide the best warmth-to-weight ratio of any insulation available. The coat's weather-worthiness is bolstered by synthetic insulation at the bottom and on the shoulders. A high front insulated collar and fully-adjustable insulated hood add extra warmth and comfort. Side zips at either edge of the drop tail hem provide natural mobility when needed while also enhancing thermal efficiency when fully zipped.

Other features include a full-length double-separating front zipper with an internal storm flap, a brushed collar lining, internal knit cuff gaiters with integrated thumbloops, an internal chest pocket, am internal mesh stash pocket, and lined handwarmer pockets.
