An ultra-lightweight layering piece the Outdoor Research Women's Helium Down Vest provides the compressible warmth of down insulation with water-resistant fabrication to deliver better weather protection than traditional insulated vests.
The body of the vest is constructed of an ultra-lightweight wind- and water-resistant 10D Pertex Quantum nylon fabric. Warmth is provided by high-performance ethically-sourced 800+ fill power down insulation. Renowned for their compressible properties and efficiency in providing warmth the feathers and fibers of down have an incredibly soft comfortable feel and continue to provide the best warmth-to-weight ratio of any insulation available. Due to the high loft and compressibility of down the vest can even be packed into its own pocket and easily stowed in a pack.
Other features include a full-length front zipper a drawcord-adjustable hem dual internal stash pockets a zippered chest pocket and zippered hand pockets with brushed tricot linings.
Available in your choice of size and color options the Outdoor Research Women's Helium Down Vest has a standard fit that allows you to comfortably layer beneath it or over top of it.
