Description
- Reliable and durable weather protection: A waterproof and windproof Ventia exterior fabric protects you from the elements. The shell fabric even has mechanical stretch so it helps maintain a full range of motion.
- Body-mapped synthetic insulation for cold-weather confidence: VerticalX synthetic insulation helps keep you warm throughout, but 100g insulation in the body supports core warmth while the sleeves and hood are more streamlined with 80g insulation.
- Helmet-compatible hood adjusts for any conditions: The insulated hood has multiple adjustment points, a wire brim, and a hood lock so that its stays in place even on windy days, whether you're wearing a helmet or not.
- Snow-centric design keeps you dry and precipitation out: From hem to hood, this jacket is ready for the slopes. An elasticized powder skirt snaps at the cinchable waist to keep snow out, and wrist gaiters with thumbholes at the adjustable cuffs do the same for your hands. Pit zips and a double front zipper help you vent out excess heat while remaining protected. When zipped up, the chin has a brushed tricot fabric for next-to-skin comfort.
- Convenient pockets for storage: Tricot-lined zippered hand pockets are just the start of available storage for the essentials. There's also interior zippered pocket with a media port, exterior zippered chest pocket that's insulated to help protect phone battery life, a large internal mesh stash pocket, and a forearm pocket with a key clip for your ski pass.

Outdoor Research Plus sizes use a different hip-to-waist ratio with a grading that accounts for differences between proportions and body shapes rather than just making larger versions of their apparel pieces to better ensure a proper fit.
