- Ultra-lightweight construction saves weight and minimizes bulk: The VerticalX Superstrand synthetic insulation has a similar weight and loft as 700-800 fill down insulation and the 12D nylon ripstop shell fabric offers water-resistance (note: not fully waterproof) and wind-resistance.
- Low-profile fit enhancements maximize adaptability: An insulated and adjustable hood with stretch binding provides a close and comfortable fit and an elastic-bound hem and elastic-bound cuffs further ensure comfort while maintaining an overall layering-friendly fit.
- Warm pockets with built-in versatility: Zippered insulated pockets provide a warm place for your hands as well as secure storage and the left hand pocket doubles as a stuff sack when you aren't wearing the jacket and want to stow it in your pack.
