- Windproof and highly breathable exterior: Perfect for mountain activities that don't necessarily call for waterproof protection but do require the ability to fend off wind, GORE-TEX's WINDSTOPPER membrane creates a barrier against incoming air while still offering a full range of motion and maneuverability. A water-repellant DWR coating enhances overall weather-resistance. An adjustable, fully-insulated, helmet-compatible hood extends protection and its stiffened peak makes certain that your view remains uninhibited.
- Weather-resistant down insulation provides lightweight, low-bulk warmth: The jacket uses recycled 700 fill-power European goose down that has a fluorocarbon-free hydrophobic finish that protects it from moisture, so it retains its insulating qualities even in wet or damp conditions. Stitched-through micro and nano-baffles promote mobility and ensure consistent warmth by keeping the insulation from migrating and creating cold spots.
